Rolling Shutter Doors
Our Industrial Rolling Shutter Doors have been specifically developed for a
wide range of applications including Factories, Warehouses, Workshops and Farm
Buildings. These doors are available in a choice of finishes including
Galvanised, HP200 Colorcoat Plastisol and Polyester Powder Coat finish. The
doors can be operated manually either push up/pull down or via endless hand
chain through a reduction gear set with the assistance of counter-balance
springs. They can also be operated electrically via a 240 volt single phase or
415 volt three phase motor units through various types of controllers.
Collapsible Lattice Gates
Collapsible Lattice Gates are one of the most extremely versatile security
products as when open can be very unobtrusive. Mainly designed for use where
confined headroom within the building prevents the use of conventional roller
shutter doors. The great advantage over a conventional door is that they
provide the general public with maximum visibility whilst protecting the goods
on display from theft.
They are manufactured from purpose made galvanised steel sections arranged
vertically and diagonally to create a lattice work pattern assembly. The gate
assemblies run on heavy duty Nylon wheels within a 'W' section galvanised steel
fixed top and bottom track. The gates are fitted with a 7-pin tubular key
operated lock and finished in Polyester Powder Coat paint in a stock colour as
standard. At extra costs, the gates can incorporate such items as Adams-Rite
hook-bolt dead locks or lift-up bottom tracks (useful when installed to a
doorway or corridor to prevent tripping), and even a swivel-aside facility (to
swivel the bunch/es clear of the opening).
Insulated Sectional Overhead Doors
Our Insulated Sectional Overhead Doors are an effective barrier for both
security and thermal insulation purposes. Suitable for a wide range of
industrial applications, the construction of the door results in an overall 'U'
value of 0.6 W/m A variety of track arrangements is available to suit standard,
low and high headroom applications. The doors are finished as standard in HP200
Colorcoat Plastisol to the external face. The doors can be operated manually
either push up/pull down or via endless hand chain through a reduction gear set
with the assistance of counter-balance springs.
High Speed Doors
These doors are very well suited to entrances subject to heavy and continuous
traffic and intensive use. The construction of our High Speed Doors along with
the operating speed can reduce the level of energy loss dramatically. Available
in both horizontally Rolling and Folding options, they are structurally highly
flexible with transparent or coloured (or a combination of both)
interchangeable panels, therefore in the case of accidental impact, the damaged
panel can be replaced easily and quickly, thus keeping repair costs minimal.
Operation is via a 415 volt twin-speed three phase motor unit through various
types of controllers including push button stations, remote control and floor
inserted induction loops.

Firefighters have been working flat out in New Plymouth, New Zealand today
assessing the damage after two tornadoes tore through the city. 36 firefighters
assessed the extent of the twisters' destruction. Crews from New Plymouth were
joined by volunteer fire crews from Inglewood, Oakura and Waitara.
"Three quarters of the building is damaged. One part of the workshop roof
is completely gone. The door was blown through in our main workshop, and the
roller door was blown back about 12 metres. It's just major," said a
worker, who did not want to be named.
